Scope of Work

I was tasked with the responsibility of crafting a monthly email newsletter for a local yoga business in Monroe, NY called Sol Full Yoga. I used Mailchimp to create a straightforward email marketing campaign to spread awareness of upcoming events at the studio and any class updates for the weekly schedule.

I maintained the studio’s brand elements, utilizing their company logo and symbolic yellow and teal colors to create a calming tone infused with language that leaned towards healing and rejuvenation. When creating the content in the email, I wrote strategic subject lines, headers, and body text and included appropriate CTAs and links to give the email a functional structure.

Prior to sending the emails, I would configure Mailchimp settings (like the sender info and tracking) to be able to set up an effective campaign that engaged. I A/B tested subject lines and layouts with 3 different options per newsletter, and then after 2 days, I would send the email to the main audience depending on which option was most successful.

I monitored delivery performance to track open rates, clicks, and conversions and then provided performance reports to the client after careful analysis.

Campaign Process Development

  2. Content Creation: Craft the headings, body copy, and appropriate links.

  3. Design Template: Source images with the client and ensure mobile responsiveness.

  4. Setup Campaign: A/B test subject lines/layouts.

  5. Launch & Analyze: Monitor delivery performance and track metrics.

  6. Communicate: Share findings with client and clarify needed changes for next email newsletter.
